Henna Mehndi


Henna is same like mehndi. These are the two names of a single thing. The only difference is that the mehndi leaved crashed and mixed in a desi pot and paste applied with wooden sticks was called mehndi in the early age of its invention. We can say the old name of henna was mehndi and this word is so cute that it does not make any hesitation to the person to speak or write in Urdu language also. So there is not so much difference between these two words. An other factor is that most of the words of Punjabi language and Urdu language are common because these both languages are derived from on language named "Sansikrat". Description on Mehndi / Henna.

           Mehndi is also known as Henna. It is a type of pasted packed in a cone like plastic tube. It is being used by both men and women. The word Mehndi have been derived from a language known as "Sansikrat". The actual word used for Mehndi in Sansikrat was "Mendhik". Mehndi is mostly used by women and sometime for men also. The pasted of Mehndi from cone tube is drawn on hands in different designs and shapes.

         The most common use of Mehndi or Henna is on hands, arms and feet. Mehndi on hands is more natural and beautiful piece of art to make these parts of body attractive and beautiful.
